There is no age restriction to attend the park, just to swim with dolphins. The minimum age to swim with the dolphins is 6 years. Visitors from 3 to 5 years can participate in all other activities of Discovery Cove swim with the package without (Non-Swim Package).

It is advisable to book at least 3 months in advance, especially if the desired period is during the school holidays. However, there may be available for last minute, so it's always worth checking for availability.

The Non-swim Package includes everything you have in Swim Package EXCEPT the activity of swimming with dolphins.

Approximately 30 minutes in water with the dolphin. During this time, visitors play, feed and ultimately swim individually with the dolphin. Each group has eight people maximum.

Yes, the interaction with the dolphin can be done in the shallow part, without the need to go to the bottom. To do so, simply ask the dolphin trainer at the time of the activity. Besides interacting with the dolphin, there is also a large area of white sand beach to relax and an aviary filled with exotic birds that feed in the hands of visitors. The lifejackets can be used throughout the park, allowing visitors to float rivers in Tropical Reef and the Dolphin Lagoon.

Yes, each book Discovery Cove must include at least one visitor who go swimming with the dolphin.

Discovery Cove can accommodate visitors with special needs, provided they are able to move - albeit with limitations - by itself or with the assistance of others. There are specially designed wheelchairs for the beach, available upon request. Please specify on booking.

Changes are allowed since they occur with more than 30 days before the date reserved, subject to availability.

Check in the park opens at 8 am and the park closes at 17:30.

No, they receive a letter with a confirmation number that must be presented at check-in.

Visitors must submit letters of confirmation and photo ID at the counter service (Guest Relations / Services) at the main entrance of the parks. Thus, they will receive tickets for each of the parks. The procedure is the same at Aquatica, and that access must be done by entering the Big Kahuna on the left of the turnstiles. If a visit to Discovery Cove occurs before they enter the parks SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica with the ID card they will receive at Discovery Cove.

SeaWorld and Aquatica are across the street and Busch Gardens is in Tampa Bay, just over an hour away by car. The transportation to Busch Gardens is available from SeaWorld and other Orlando locations.

Swimsuits, a change of clothes for after the activities, slippers and photo ID to verify age over 21 years if they wish to consume alcoholic beverages. Everything is included in the package (except for items sold separately in stores in the park, photos or videos).

Yes, the request must be made directly by the visitor to the head of Laguna Grill Restaurant at the earliest possible. Our team will endeavor to answer as best all requests.

Visitors are directed to the reception, where they receive a map and your identification card. It is at this moment that determines the timing of activity with the dolphin for the visitors who bought this package option. After check in, the visitor is directed to the locker room area to remove wet suit, vest and snorkeling gear (all at no additional cost). Towels, lockers, showers and toiletries are also offered and are already included in the package price.

You can snorkel with tropical fish and stingrays, enjoy white sand beaches in the comfort of a hammock, feed birds in your hand inside the aviary, swimming in the Tropical River and Bay Serenity Pool. There are also special presentations of other animals in the Conservation Hut.

The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. It's all included in the package. The breakfast offers breads, teas, coffee and fruits. There are several kiosks in the park distributing biscuits, fruit, crisps and snacks. The lunch menu includes salads, fish, grilled meats and pastas, and other options. To drink there are soft drinks, juices, teas and coffee. For over 21 years ago also beers.

Visitors can bring their own cameras to the park, but they are not allowed in the dolphin lagoon for safety reasons. After interacting with the dolphin, visitors can view your photos and video. If they wish, they can acquire these items and remove them at the end of the day at the park exit.
